That was very interesting, especially the metal looking slab they stuck on the front of the altar for the frontal. Do you know what the back story was behind this? I am also curious if this was for a one time event like an extraordinary mass, or was to be used permanently.

Amazing what can be done with a picnic table! Still, there are too many candle sticks...if you're going to be traditional you should follow the traditional rubrics and ritual rather than inventing something vain and precious.

Archer: if I remember correctly these were IBP priests saying Mass in a parish in the Bordeaux Archdiocese.
