Does any reader know the reference for this Chrysostom quotation?
“Do not look upon it as bread, do not regard it as wine; nor are these excreted into the privy like the rest of foods. Perish the thought! But like wax brought into contact with the fire, where nothing is lost and nothing is left over, so too the Mysteries are thought to be consumed by the substance of the Body.”

Fr. Steel: De paenitentia homilia 3.9 (Enchiridion Patristicum #1137, p. 431).

Homily 3 is MPG 49, pp. 291 ff., I believe.
English translation of the entire homily in FC 96, I'm just GUESSING. But I could be wrong about that (don't have an up-to-date patrology here at home).
Steve, Thanks! You'll be receiving a footnote in the thesis! I would like to see the English translation in its entirety if I can get my hands on it. Will look around the library tomorrow or Saturday. Let me know if you get the exact reference for that. Much appreciated!!!!!
Fr. Steel:
I misread Enchiridion Patristicum. It is actually the reverse: Homily on penance/repentance 9.3, not 3.9. And that changes things a bit, as the authorship of Homily 9 is contested.
In any case, it is indeed FC 96, pp. 127-128.
The reviews of FC 96 weren't universally enthusiastic, just so you know.
The De paenitentia homiliae have also been translated into German.
