Anglo-Catholic Bloggers Gathering in February in LondonUpdate
This past year in London those who joined the Anglo-Catholic bloggers dinner really enjoyed being together for food, faith and fellowship. Since there is a meeting in February after the General Synod, I saw that Father Tomlinson SSC raised the question about us getting together again while there. That was a brilliant idea and I hope that this time we can add those new bloggers to us and that the regulars will be back again as well. I think we can scale things down a bit this time around but we should sort something soon if all are interested. So, if you are an Anglo-Catholic blogger or one who helps those who do blog with the technicalities of challenged bloggers, then you are invited to join the second Anglo-Catholic Blogging dinner in London on Friday evening 13 February. If you are planning on coming and would like to reserve a place for yourself and your partner if you are bringing one, please do let me know here. Send this link to anyone you feel might be interested in coming along.
The update is that since there is no meeting on the Friday evening, we need to schedule a dinner but meet at the place where we will be eating. So, once the place is arranged, I will post it and we can meet there. For those of us who live far in the north, we have to make the long commute anyway. So, I'll be coming down Friday afternoon early but will have to return on Saturday evening as I have services on Sunday. OF COURSE, THERE IS A MEETING ON SATURDAY; to quote Gregory of Langres

I am going to try and come this time, but as there is no formal meeting, I will really be coming to eat dinner only, so cannot justify the cost of accommodation, I wonder what time the meal might be scheduled for? Maybe I can take the train down and get the train back the same day? It would be a long haul but would show willing! Otherwise, I can promise an appearance next time.
There is, of course, a meeting on Saturday...
